On 9. October at 2 pm we are organising an introductory meeting for all first semester students, who have enrolled in the master program Data Science. The event will take place in the computing centre (Felix-Hausdorff-Straße 18) in the lounge (ground floor). Everyone is welcome to get to know more closely the Institute of Data Science and the master program in Data Science. If you need further information, do not hesitate to contact Alexandra Moringen.

The Institute of Data Science at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences develops new data science methods including machine learning, data modelling, data management, data fusion, data visualisation etc. and their applications in interdisciplinary domains. Furthermore, the institute addresses important legal and ethical questions related to data science and the way we handle data. The institute is very interdisciplinary and aims to provide a bridge between the different faculties and institutes at the university.
