Informal Dementia Forum Corpus (IDFC)

A total of 45,216 informal conversational sentences were collected from an online dementia discussion forum, comprising 775 questions and 5,571 responses. Based on this material, the Informal Dementia Forum Corpus (IDFC) is constructed by annotating the texts using the BRAT annotation tool. The annotation scheme employed a set of domain-specific labels, including Agitation, Verbal_aggressive, Verbal_nonaggressive, Physical_aggressive, Physical_nonaggressive, Causes, PwD, and Family-carer. As these labels are derived from the EDEM-CONNECTONTO, the resulting IDFC serves as the foundation for ontology-driven entity recognition and relation extraction tasks.
