Rowan joined the Data Science department at the University of Greifswald in 2026 as a Research Assistant and PhD researcher. She holds an M.Sc. in Cognitive Science with a focus on AI and Neuroinformatics from Osnabrück University and a B.Sc. in Computational Linguistics and Phonetics from Alexandria University.

She is currently in the early stages of her PhD and works on scalable methods for multimodal data analysis within the BehAIve project. Her research focuses on applying AI and Data Science methods to understand human behaviour, with particular interest in multimodal behavioural data and intelligent support systems.
